hi, i have a competative racing bike and i bought it with 650c wheels. is it possible to upgrade to 700c wheels or will i need to purchace o new bike?

my situation: I need a new bike and would love my next bike to be light and fast.

my plan: 2nd hand aluminium mountain-bike frames seem to be far cheaper than 2nd hand racing-bike frames. If I buy a mountain bike frame, could I fit racing-bike wheels to it? Would there be any major structural problems with this?

I just like cycling around town, and day trips in the countryside. I don’t mind if the bike isn’t triathlon standard

I have an old bike and was wondering how to go about cleaning off the the frame without damaging what is left of the original paint.
It also has rusted rims and handle bars and I’d like th clean those off as much as possible as well. Any idea?

The ones that go right in the middle of your front and back wheels and someone can put their feet on, and also can you put those on any bike or do you have to buy a special bike that already has them on?

For Christmas I am giving my old bike to my cousin who needs training wheels. Is there any possible way to put them on?

I bought Schwinn Volare bike a couple of days ago and I am really happy with the purchase. I consider this bicycle is a good bike for beginners to exercise or recreational rallying. Yes, you can buy nicer one but not in the less than $250 or so range.

I bought Schwinn Volare to start riding to work, and I purchased relatively no very expensive bicycle. First I would like to know, do I really like the bike to keep it and later to improve it with new parts .So far I have taken short rides and it behaves great .The brakes are very reliable and the ride smooth. The seat is just OK.

I like how it shifts, the brakes are great. The brakes set easy and just as to how you like them. I spent a little bit more time to adjust them but now they work super. This bicycle is not for contest .It is however a comfy (with different seat) beautiful quality bicycle.

Assemblage was highly simple, and bicycle was available to ride without any other tuning of spokes, etc. Schwinn Volare bicycle is really very light at about 42 pounds with thin tires to pick up race quick. I love this bicycle, the shifting mechanism works precisely, easily to switch and bike ride very smooth.

The bike needed a little bit more precise adjustment to the derailers but that is typical for any new bike. Since then it\’s been running enormously well and has needed zero! Nice lightweight wheels and very solid regular parts create this a super value for the money, and the flat bar is nice for city cruising!

All in the entire bike looks really great, the welds on the frame are solid, and the bicycle is really nice. I give these bicycle two thumbs up and extremely recommend it.

I’m looking for a chrome rear wheel for my bmx bike, and there is so many different rims I’m not sure which to get, any recommendations?

Might be a silly question, but should the training wheels both be touching the ground, or should they both be slightly off the ground?
